It has a 5-1/2 inch blade made from a tough and corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a matte finish. The blade has a thumb plate that allows you to open it with one hand or snag it on your pocket for quick deployment.
It carries surprisingly well for such a beefy knife. It has a design that makes almost offensively (from a laws of physics standpoint) to carry a knife this large. I have carried the large espada on backpacking trips with great success.
The espada i got made by cs is flawless. The quality materials and craftsmanship of this knife are superb. And secondly, the performance is outstanding.
It's hard to get it out of your pocket with out deploying it. Is there a preferred method to loosen the lock. Fits wonderfully in my pocket without bulging it up, so it's discreet.
Cons
This is garbage from gsm buying out cold steel and not worth the price or name. Terribly bogus company.
The only version of this knife to but is the polished version, but even that is too expensive. The blade and locking feature is quite good, but the parts on the grip are incredibly cheap and low quality.

Price
I've always wanted one, but the price was out of my range.
If you have a small knife collection, this will be by far the best one you will ever own, buy two if the price is under $200, i wish i did.
Packaging/appearance
Rides in the pocket fairly well considering its size .
It’s packaging states clearly it is not for anything but cutting stuff.
Edit: this is the sharpest knife i’ve ever gotten out of the box.
Sticks out of the pocket a bit.
Competitiveness
Comes razor sharp, pictures don't do it justice, truly massive knife, about same length as a kbar.
My ideal knife for years has been one of a few spyderco ladybug/manbugs.
So glad i held out for the s35vn version
Then i saw the reasonable prices on the non-collector versions and i decided to take a chance.

Its important to look at the seller ive made sure that if i order from here its actually being sold by amazon and not like qwrrstools or some other place that sells it for a cent cheaper

Counterfeit knives are out there and at this point i truly believe that if you have a cold steel knife that has play in the blade feels very rough or has finish issues theres a good chance you have a counterfeit

Ultimately i dont think either would ever be my edc i just feel like the entire reason to get this is to go big after all this is a homage to the historic spanish folding knives that could be much bigger than this

Theres not many of their knives that are meant for practical purposes which is probably why a lot of people overlook the knives that are practical tufflite is excellent
