The braveheart in stainless at about $50 is perfection for a boot knife. Blade is ridiculously light, but feels like it was crafted well. Comes with a metal ring, but it only took about a minute to remove.

Sharp tip and serrations. The point is sharp, but so is the point of a ballpoint pen. No complicating clips, no lash points.

The skean dhu is slim but comfortable and grippy. The handle is a bit flat for my taste but it grips well and it keeps it slender in profile. It has a nice rubberized grip and a surprisingly good blade.

Best use will be to sit in my collection as a novelty, albeit a potentially functional one. For how interesting it is, it's a bargain. The quality gives me the confidence it would work properly if needed.
