Pros

This knife is of good quality, functionality, and durability. They come sharpened. Very sharp. It coms sharp.

The faux tsukamaki (japanese handle wrap) pattern on the handle is a nice touch that enhances grip security. It's sturdy, decently balanced, and the grip is comfortable.

The sheath is of course great quality. Only issue is that when you remove it from the case you have to pull fairly hard, and it feels like it slips a little. As far as i know, nothing exists. Playstation controller joysticks commonly do this.

This is the best knive i have purchased on here. They always deliver quality products at an affordable price. This thing is worth every penny!

Compact and not bulky. Great for everyday carry. My backup, inexpensive carry. The kyoto is small and the blade is thick. It's small, but that's ok!

Cons

The knife was never used for anything more strenuous than slicing up my lunch. The weight of the knife seems insufficient to snap 1/8 of aus-8 steel. It's worthless as a neck knife and cold steel's c-clips are a scam product that arrives unusable with...  Read More

The handle is rubber and man this thing is solid and razor sharp!

The handle is grippy and rubberized and doesn't hurt to have pressed against your skin all day.

Price

This is a great value for your $

For the money you cant beat it.

But it is a full tang fixed blade produced by a reputable company for $20.

But hey, i got it on sale for $20, so i guess it really doesn't matter!

Packaging/appearance

It literally cuts through the packaging it came in just by slight movement.

Personally, opening the amazon box is easier with regular clip point blade.

Competitiveness

I’ve got about 50 different cold steel knives and i will never buy any other brand!

For a comparison to the cold steel mini tac, see that review.

Yet the tokyo has 30% less sheath, w full four finger grip, (vs 3 fingers on mini/tac), and 40% more grip than mini tac… not a ...  Read More

The holes in the sheath are absolutely worthless unless you like to tie small diameter para cord around your belt or using small zip ties

You cant use a typical snapon or clip fastening system

The screws are too big with these systems
