Pros

Light, sharp, and durable. If you want a knife for edc tasks then this is a good option. Very lightweight yet useful knife.

Sheath is really nice with locking tab that prevents knife from falling out. Only drawback in my opinion is that i wish it would have come with a belt clip.

Schrade old timer finger knife is one good option. Fits the hand surprisingly well given the slimness of the handle. I love the handle swell and the extra length makes whitetail an easy chore.

Also works well when making a jugular neck or gill cut to drain blood quickly. Nice necker sheath as well.

Cons

Came sharp but with an uneven grind near the tip. The release tab setup is a good general idea for a knife you might wear it on a chain, but it has two problems. The handle is so small i never feel like i have a solid grip on it.

This knife came sharper than any knife i've ever owned, and to be honest, i am blown away by the quality of this blade!

Seriously, am going to have to make a sheath cause the stock one is completely unusable.

All in all i do think it was worth the price i paid, around $13, but the price appears to have doubled since then.

But for the price i can't complain.

Shipping

My fighting days are over, but i could find 50 knives here on amazon in an hour that i'd rather have for self defense.

The item was as described and was received quickly.

Packaging/appearance

It came shaving sharp out of the package too.

Competitiveness

I'm happy enough to have ordered the very similar bird and trout model from cold steel.

The manufacturer website lists it as aus-8, but other places list it as aus-6.

This knife is much larger than the alternative cold steel bird and trout knife with the 2" blade.
