Packaging/appearance
It's sturdy and very sharp right out of the box.

I pulled it out of the cardboard sleeve, looked it over stuck it into its sheath and it is ready to go.
Competitiveness
The steel is extremely tough as well although i’m not going to abuse my knife and use it as a prybar to test the theory.
I like the handle more than the slim handle on my fallkniven s1 for most tasks.
For woodcraft a scandi grind is better but these work good enough.

Master hunters with 3v blades are getting hard to find but id expect the san mai version to be similar a great size comfortable handle light weight with blade geometry that cuts well but isnt at all delicate
