The way i look at it though is that i paid for a great knife, not a sheath, and i got it for a very good price.
Cold steel is one of my favorite knives and this company offered it at a great price.
Buy ten at this price, instead of one sm3.
Competitiveness
Made in taiwan with a vg-10 san mai-3 blade, this is a beautiful knife to behold.
With my kydex sheath, and with cold steel's knife, i have the perfect combo.
No it isn't as good as an esee sheath or any one of my custom sheaths.
Not the new 4034 steel model but the older 4116 model.

I owned the lite first and ive always thought it to be a pretty decent knife having used it everyday and while camping though obviously inferior in terms of material

When you strap it to your belt or flyfishing sling pack and go off doing outdoorsman things it doesnt make a sound
