Pros & Cons
Pros
It sharpens like a dream and the handle material is superb. The only real con is that it says it is not dishwasher safe.
It's a lifetime knife as far as i can tell. Some reviews say $9. Very pleased. This knife is just the ticket for around $10.
Cold steel makes very sturdy but cost effective knives. It's actually an above average steel for a paring knife. The cryogenic cycle is really nice to see here.
Cons
The knife is not serrated despite the description. The edge stops about 1/4 (6 mm) from the hilt. The handle is also fairly thick, which in combination with the short handle makes it feel uncomfortable and stubby in hand.
Highlights
Quality
Good steel and gripe, i like a little more weight but my grown children like this knife better then my wosstoffs
Easy to clean and maintain, sharp new and sharpens well.
These paring knives were sharp out of the box.
Started to drop it, and tried to grab it and bam cut right behind the nail of my index finger.
Price
This is a great knife for the price.
Yes a $100 knife will stay sharp longer but i want use my disher washer and these are a breeze to resharpen.
This knife is just the ticket for around $10.
Low cost but come very sharp and stay pretty sharp.
Shipping
But i would remind buyers that with prime the shipping is free.
Packaging/appearance
Arrived sharp but toothy and deserves a mirror finish on the edge.
Competitiveness
Much better than my old overpriced spyderco paring knife.
