Out of the box this blade would not even cut through a 12 blackberry vine

The blade is extremely dull even after removing the protective lacquer on the cutting edge

The blade is stout and so far seems to be holding up but the fact that i needed to spend almost an hour to get the edge to a suitable sharpness does not infer confidence in the tool

One sample has evenly ground edge and another sample has an edge so unevenly done that its about useless

At least enough so that i shouldnt have to look into buying portable grinder to fix an edge
