This not being known is the main reason for negative reviews along w fairly poor quality control.
The handles loosen or even fall out almost every time i throw any of the 3 of my axes.
Price
These axes are very good for the money and i hoghly recommend them to anyone.
I looked all over for a few weeks before i settled on this one, and you can't beat this for anywhere near the price!
Of what others have said is true, and you get what you pay for.

My only real problem was how the seller shipped the item.

It has a great balance and it comes packaged with a lot of care.

It arrived nicely wrapped in bubble wrap, but the head was jiggling loose.

There are some poor reviews on head fitment on to handle in my experience the head was not attached to the handle when i received the item which is no big deal when fixing the head to the handle i just had to make sure that it was seated firmly because it is a friction fit and not a wedge fit

The item came shipped in a cardboard box with no packaging and the axe head and axe handle not attached to each other

And my problem with that being since there was no packing material such as bubble wrap or styrofoam peanuts or anything to that effect the axe head and axe handle were shaking around in this fairly large box which could have caused the axe handle to become very damaged
