Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a very sturdy tent. My only gripe with coleman is. Get this one. This tent is awesome!
The tent is very roomy and has a screened vestibule that will fully cover if it rains. The top of the tent is completely mesh, with the outer rainfly acting as the covering roof. Rainproofing seems ok, we have an additional sloped tarp over it as well... Read More
Great place to setup some chairs for bug-free lounging. Big enough for a couple of camp chairs if it's buggy, or even to sit in while you put on your shoes. I like how roomy it is.
The tent is large enough for a queen sized air mattress with room to move around both sides. Fits two air mattresses with room between and infront of them. Me, hubby,3 year old and pipes our beagle enjoy it very much!
The porch on this is bigger than i thought with room to keep your firewood dry and/or a clothing rack for any wet clothes you may have. We love the layout and the screened room, but the one low spot is that the rain fly doesn't extend a little further... Read More
Cons
The price is an exorbitant $280 for the 4-person weatherproof (sure it is) version. The rain fly is a bit of a engineering faux pas. The material is too thin as it allowed rain to drip into the tent.
Highlights
Quality
So far, i am pleased with the tent.
Quality is really good it wasn’t any leaking during the rain and the sunroom is awesome.
Sadly, the quality is very disappointing for a coleman product :(.
The last tent i owned was a ozark instant tent and it left a lot to be desired, the quality was cheap and cheesy.
Shipping
The tent and bag are compressed for shipping, but the bag has a clever expansion seam on its long side.
Packaging/appearance
Have been in the rain with it and it did well as long as we had the front poles positioned right and the fly wasn't touching the screen.
But as usual with all my coleman tents it takes 5 to 10 minutes to put the tent back into the bag; one thing coleman hasn't imp... Read More
Competitiveness
Two adults and a toddler fit perfectly in this tent, along with a 60lb weimariner!
Have been in a small 5x7 two person tent, so this tent is mansion like.
The windows zip and unzip on the inside, which seems like a no-brainer, but apparently isn’t.

It’s definitely a 2 person job bc the tent is so tall

We got a tarp to put under it as other reviewers correctly stated that the floor is flimsy and could get punctured by a rock pretty easily

I would recommend getting sturdier stakes than the ones they give you and a rubber mallet to hammer them in

There were a lot of bugs outside so we brought our camp stools into the porch and left most of the bugs outside

Other things to note the storage pockets are up high on the sides so you can’t reach them when laying down

There’s no place for a lantern or string lights in the middle of the tent so we used the window hooks for both

A lot of companiesdesigns these days do away with them by using big mesh panels covered by the rain fly which makes the tent lighter simpler and cheaper to manufacturer but much less versatile
