The coleman company must have a very loose definition of latch this supposed latch doesnt hold the lid shut it only makes the lid harder to open

After our camping trip we emptied it of leftover food and drink and left it closed in our garage in a 90 degree day totally forgot about it checked it the next day and there was still ice in there
