Pros

Seam sealant is a must. Even with strong gusts of wind. My first time using the tent we were camped out on cape cod and had a tornado watch with torrential rains. After the pandemic & tent camping is back on the table.

The darkroom technology is amazing. Waking up in the morning can be a little disorienting. The coleman skydome camping tent with dark room technology is a game-changer.

Setting up the tent is a breeze, taking just 5 minutes, thanks to its user-friendly design and color-coded poles. This version is significantly easier to setup and take down.

The good headroom and dark room are what have kept it out of the dumpster. Zipping and unzipping the door was also a struggle.

Very easy to assemble, spacious, you can stand inside (my husband is 6’3”) and he can stand in the middle.

Easy set up and the darkening fabric is wonderful.

After a couple of times it got stuck i pulled on the zipper to hard and punctured a hole on the tent.

The fine-dust will enter thru the mesh openings even with the top cover until everything in the tent is covered with it.

Kept us safe and sheltered for a 4 day camp trip.

Packaging/appearance

On a side note, it would be very interesting to see how they pack so much stuff in the bag at the factory.

So when you try to pack it back in the bag is a big pain in the ass.

Competitiveness

This is a replacement for an older model coleman 8-person tent.

I've grown up using tents with our family and we've always trusted coleman, it's honestly hard to find a poor coleman tent in my opinion.
