Pros & Cons
Pros
This is more of a heavier, multi-person, backpacking tent. My only complaint- the zipper for the door gets caught on the little zipper flap. The only minor complaint is the door.
If it's a windy day, i stake down the four corners of the tarp using the stakes that came with the tent. This should help rain from soaking in. No drips from condensation in the am.
Main tent poles are permanently attached to the tent. Just put the poles together, attach them to the correct corners and hook the tent to the poles.
Cons
The walls of this tent are mesh, except for the bottom waterproof edge. The rain-fly covers them up entirely which will decrease any ventilation as long as it's on. The material is so cheap just packing it back up into the box in the soft grass out at... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Using clips instead of long loop holes for the structure is much easier to setup and hopefully to maintain long term as well
The higher ceiling helped it to feel spacious and the pockets, windows, and other add ons were very useful.
They can be detached, but it's a real pain in the rear to do it and the clip it attaches with is not made to be removed and rei... Read More
We had constant downpours for a week straight and not a drip of rain inside.
Price
For the price, this is a great tent!
I wanted to get into the hobby cheap, but not so cheap as to ruin the experience.
This is worth the money and then some.
Since we were taking our new fur baby for the first time, i didn’t want to risk my expensive tents not knowing how she would do.
Packaging/appearance
As a camper who's never seen this before, it made everything more complicated, from setting up to tear down to packing.
Follow the instructions to pack the tent back up and it fits easily in its bag, which is so small you can barely believe it is ... Read More
The packed tent looks smaller than other tents of similar size/capacity.
Competitiveness
Comparing this tent to a tent i bought at walmart for around the same price, this tent is much better quality.
I have since replaced this tent with a far more expensive, far heavier, and roomier tent for my 2nd season.
As for the features, it is right there with similarly priced dome tents.

It remained dry in heavy rains

Material seems good and floor is heavy duty and wraps up about six inches of the ground all around the tent

Cons so far only that the bag to store the tent in is way too small

One run through though and it was simple when we got out there

As always ignore the 348 person tent34 descriptions of all tents

For reference the small tent behind us is a 342 person tent34 with room for 1 to sleep and maybe have a backpack in there with them
