Pros

All the seams in the fly are well-taped for waterproofness. Survived a hailstorm, full day of sleet, and 4 days of rain. Only drawback is the sides of the rain fly should be pulled a bit more.

Coleman tent is durable and sturdy. I miss my old rei tent already.

With the attached shock-corded poles and clips, setup only takes a few minutes. Overall it's a good tent that's maybe a little too difficult for a novice like me. Ease of setup is perfect.

For the remaining clips, they seem to fit best when the webbing is perpendicular to the pole. The one gripe i have with this tent is coleman should have included an extra stay/eyelet for extra tension on both sides of the fly.

Cons

The wind was barely a gust and more a decent breeze and the tent absolutely failed. What use of plenty of room when it constantly collapses on you and lets in rain?

I found it very sturdy as well resisting wind and rain and no leaks as well.

It poured for about seven hours straight and this tent held up with no leaks.

Every time i zipped or unzipped, the zipper would get caught on the flaps where they met.

Price

Update 2: when i bought this tent it was one hundred and thirty nine dollars.

I'd have gladly paid a few dollars more for aluminum poles, and if i were buying a tent, this would be a no-go for me personally.

The current price is almost twice that.

Not sure it is worth its current price.

Packaging/appearance

I got a fairly good size cot in there and my dry box (tote) and was very pleased with the room i had.

Competitiveness

This tent is much better in the wind than other coleman dome tents i have owned.

This product is very easy to assemble compared to other tent i’ve set up before.

Coleman should consider, as some other tent makers, making their storage bags a bit oversized for easier pack-up.

Since the rain fly extends farther down than on other tents, it kept winds out of the tent.
