I am happy with my new coleman grill however it is not as well built as i thought it would be based on the previous purchased and used for many year like 15 coleman grill

I chose this roadtrip because i liked the cast iron grates the ability to swap grill plates the small portability but most of all because it was half price over the july 4 weekend at a local store

As i assembled it i noticed that parts of the build didnt seem very solid

The knobs felt flimsy and it took me a while to figure out how to position the drip pan and grates so i could close the lid over them this is far more fiddly than it should be deduct one star

To accommodate this feature coleman had to make their cast iron grates with a closed center section that covers the burner
