It's perfect for a family outing. I use it on fall rafting trips when the days are short. Coleman camp gear is the best.
Cons
It is not very bright at the highest setting. It puts out a yellowish looking light. Changing the mantle is a already a hassle. I was frustrated and burned too many times with this.
Highlights
Quality
Overall i am pleased with it so far.
Very high quality easy to get it going.
That being said i'm a bit disappointed with the used good condition product i took a chance on to save $5.
Price
The price is great for the product and it's operational advantages over a larger lantern.
I would order another but the price went up considerable since i purchased this product.
Competitiveness
I use this for kayak campingruns off of a single 16oz propane tank for an extended period of time and provides ample light to see
Well made and functional like all coleman products.
