Pros

Works awesome. Works with 1 or 2 brisk flicks of the striker arm knob every time it is slid up into lighting position near the mantles. Works well in lighting coleman lantern.

The flint is kinda week. Then you get a fireball coming out the top. Hours of fun entertainment with a bottle of hairspray as the igniter. Retract the sparker after lighting for a long life.

Cons

Poor machining on the knurled knob. Not enough room to twist the spark igniter. Hard to spin the striker.

The brass needle used in the valve to close off the air pump looks like it was was machined with a dull cutting tool and never finished. The flint that comes with the product is junk.

No spark at all. Replace it with one out of a bic. Don't buy this, get an old one off of ebay.

This only fits one model, the 200a. Will not work on quickpack deluxe lanterns. Oh yes, it's for a 45yo coleman lantern not for spuds.

Good for the shareholders, bad for the user. Coleman no longer understands quality. I can understand going offshore to save labor costs but then to suffer a reduction in quality, it's a net loss.
