The other spotlights i have owned were all very heavy all were sealed with an nonreplaceable rechargeable battery and none lasted more than a few months once the battery went bad and would not recharge they had to be tossed out and they were expensive

Problem with many things with rechargeable batteries is the product is from china and the rechargeable batteries from there have a more than 50 chance of going bad rather early not a good thing in an expensive product

Unfortunely the eneloop d adaptors are designed in a way that does not make proper contact with the flashlight battery contacts
