Pros & Cons
Pros
This tent is one of the best cheap tents to get. It's rough overall but with care, you can probably get a few years out of it.
The screen room gets wet in the rain but the tent dosen't. I wish that they had just included one more zipper window. The enclosed porch holds a travel cat tree, food and cat box, shoes, lots of odds and ends. The screened in porch is awesome for bugs... Read More
The darkroom technology is awesome. It's dark enough to sleep in or nap through the day, but also very breathable. Morning wake up will be a lot gentler than morning light blasting in at dawn.
Cons
There is a lip around the inner door that could cause a trip hazard for some. The inner door only has a half window- decreasing circulation. Wind blows the sides in even when all tied down.
I find this to be extremely misleading. Coleman warranty is worthless, and honestly not worth the time or headache to get it replaced. It's cheaply made, very thin.
The darkroom material/coating does block nearly all sunlight. If you want to change clothes at night, you better do it in the dark or you'll be putting on a show for anyone that walks moderately close to your tent. It seems like maybe they were made i... Read More
Highlights
Quality
In the future, i will most likely be a little less intense with the tension i put on the stakes and lines.
Be careful with the tent floor if you are using a cot.
Now the quality of the tent is lacking.
I noticed a few stretched seems in terms of product quality, but i didn't notice any water getting in during a 2.
Packaging/appearance
I leave things that can get wet in the vestibule.
A rock or a sharp object could tear the screen.
I had to tie a tarp over the top of the tent to keep water from leaking through the rainfly.
Competitiveness
This tent has held up amazingly for two years of eaa airventure airplane camping surviving two storms each year with 40mph+ win... Read More
The only reason its a 4-star and not a 5-star review is because the rope in the rain fly tent pole was broken.
Tent easily fit two people and a 90lb dog.
Certainly not a deterent to make the purchase just a note.

Coleman boasts that you could sleep additional people in the screened in portion but just as a note there are decent sized gaps in the corners that are open to the outside and there is no rain fly over the screened in area

The screen room is not designed to stay dry on its own but no water made it into the main tent area

It kept the bugs out and screen room keeps the rest of the tent cleaner

The tent was warm however one side is vented with no way to close off and did allow for cooler air to leak in but also kept things from becoming damp
