Quality
We have used this tent on multiple camping trips over the past 6 months and it is easy to set up but the quality is severly lacking.
Stays very dry with the rain cover on top of the tent.
While the layout of this tent is great, the quality is poor and i would not recommend this particular tent.
We got him one with the goal that our 5 person family could fit in it.

Competitiveness
I’m a novice camper and took my two kids (6&12) camping.
(placed 9x9 tarp under tent) i am 5'6 and am able to stand up at its highest point.
The tent ended up working fine, but was a pain to restring all of the poles.

One of the rope poles had snapped so the tension poles kept coming apart without it

I spent 2 weeks in this tent it survived 30mph gusts 4 nights of very bad rain and not a single leak anywhere

Shortly after our second camping trip one of the rods snapped while my husband was trying to put the tent away
