Pros & Cons
Pros
It works well and didn't damage anything i was hammering. It does what it's designed to do to perfection. The cutouts help alot when pulling out pegs.
Light weight and packs a punch. Light enough for backpacking. I hang it off of my backpack and don't notice it's there until i need it.
It's durable and lightweight. It is very light and feels durable. Light weight, sturdy, and does not take up any room.
Cons
Buy a real hammer or dead blow. It's too flimsy to do the job anyway. Now i have a worthless piece of plastic laying around the house.
Highlights
Quality
Very robust poly mallet to drive pegs and stakes.
It is strong enough to get tent stakes into semi solid ground.
The holes in the handle double as tent stake removers.
This mallet doesn't deliver much "m", but it's so lightweight and stiff, you can certainly put some "a" behind it.
Shipping
Shipping was awesome, it came earlier than said.
Item as described, fast shipping, excellent transaction!
Packaging/appearance
I think the packaging weighs more than the mallet.
Little larger to pack for back packing
Competitiveness
This petite plastic tent stake mallet is perfect for backpacking as its small size and lightweight factors are clearly superior... Read More

And on rocky terrain id have to give more whacks to drive in a tent stake than what id care for so added weight would be appreciated
