Brightness feels like 80w-100w (220v) clasic bulb. Works great with regular gasoline of any kind.

Are they as quick, convenient or as safe as a battery operated lantern. For me they are great but i like hand tools as much as power tools and like the nostalgia of old technology.

Cons

Case latch is very un reliable. Hard case is incorrect. Likely a problem with the generator.

The mantles that it comes with aren't very good. Peerless mantles are much better, brighter and more durable if you can get them. The included mantles burnt holes thru the sides and burnt holes in the mantle.

It’s easy to light and adjust, with a simple control knob that lets you dial in the perfect amount of light.

The only thing i don't care for is that the globe is now made in china.

The hazard is obvious, you have flammable fuels, the potential for fire and spills is obvious.

I'd rather pay for more expensive fuel than have to buy and replace generators.

It’s a little more tedious to use compared to the propane versions, but i prefer this one.

You can also find some older fuel models that are not this small.
