Perfect size for my fire pouch in my camping gear. As an outdoorsman who’s snowmobiling and icefishing constantly having a good pair matches is essential. Needed matches for a hiking/camping trip.

The scratch pad becomes useless if mildly moistened. They are not waterproof. Just thros these pos away and go buy a box something eles.

People who give these matches s dont know what there doing they work fine for me cause you need to find the angle of striking that allows them to burn properly for you and nothing is waterproof but they can be water resistant which these are and these are made the modern old style cause its almost impossible to make them wild west style legally any more and the only thing that you should watch out for the matches in the boxes that have the wood darker than the rest of the matches cause those ones are weaker than normal because they got made out of the knots in wood that the company does its best to pick out of the package to ensure quality but they cant get them all just like with any other product

These are nice though and if you are looking for quality they are good but if you need some basic waterproof matches save a few dollars

One box will fill that specific size container perfectly and then just cut the striker side off box fold up and place in top of cap
