Pros
I have sensitive gums so usually avoid whitening toothpastes. This gel is fresh and minty and keeps bad breath away and makes my teeth feel clean.
The colgate max fresh toothpaste is an exceptional product! It has these tiny little foil looking squares which are the mini breath strips apparently. This one is doable on all three.
Taste, texture and aftertaste are always my first concerns with toothpaste. I can be picky on my toothpaste flavors. I love the flavor and the breathe it leaves me with.
Cons
It provides a brief period of mild coolness immediately after brushing one's teeth.

It's not overly minty, nor does it leave an aftertaste like many other toothpastes do.
The flavor works for both of us and it leaves a nice minty effect for a short time after brushing.
Price
However, the price is more than double and is half the size of this.
Competitiveness
I like this toothpaste - it also keeps my mouth feeling fresher than other brands i've tried.
Colgate has so many toothpastes similar to this one/ but this one is the best.
We switch between this and colgate optic white, depending on coupons and sales.

Also this toothpaste does have the whitening ingredients and it does not cause any sensitivity at all
