Pros

Holds hooks tight and rotates with the hook shaft in the center. Can hold anything from a size 22 dry fly to a 2/0 * head. Mine is smooth and i love the rotary when i tie now.

Cons

I even consult with a machinist and both of us were not satisfied with its operation. Device wobbles. Can't lock down rotary part to height bar. Not worth the money.

I have 2 issues with the vise:1) the lock down lever has a razor sharp end that i had to file down.

But i can honestly say that this is a good vise at a good price.

They asked for pic of the jaws and immediately sent me a replacement free of charge and no shipping.

Packaging/appearance

I like everything except sometimes it's easy to accidently release the hook by bumping the lever
