Pros

Used this after ice pack after knee surgery. I recently had major hip surgery and this is the only thing that helps me & stays cool the longest.

It freezes easily and holds its coldness. It stays uniformly cold and, upon refreezing, is ready to go again if needed within 2 hours.

Cons

Within a year or two, the gel dries into gray clumps. Too cumbersome. To the landfill with it.

A bag of peas is a much better way to ice my knee. It just lays on my knees like a hard board and it is not flexible at all. Slick exterior hard to handle.

They work great and hold the cold for at least 20-30 minutes.

Precaution they are extremely cold… always wrap them in something - i would not recommend putting directly in skin.

There are no sharp edges to cut you or press into your skin.

The packaging are efficient-great job and smart.

The bag they come in is great to store them in freezer - keeps off the icky freezer smell.
