Each fall i buy my kids new oversize rainboots and rain jackets (seattle area) these jackets are good for several seasons if you try not to over wash, generally i only waterproof spray them when it's time to hand down to the next child, these keep you dry but not warm so prepare to wear layers under and size up accordingly, i like the elastic sleeves and the hood adjusting velcro, which makes it much easier to size up.  Read Less
