Pros
The heel area cushion is the only issue, sharp rocks poke my heel due to the foam being soft. A tad heavier than modern all-foam shoes. The lace guides go down over the side in the middle of you foot for excellent support.
They are really versatile that you can to the gym or out around the beach. Slippery rocks, muddy trails, asphalt trails, clay trails. They are a versatile choice for both hiking around the neighborhood and casual wear.
Cons
Back part of the shoe is not padded. Support and cushion in shoe very lacking. Loved the look, but an oddly built shoe.
Rubber soles have a terrible manufacturing smell. It smells up the car. They literally smell like walking into a tire store.

First pair i ordered from amazon smelled horrible like petroleum or adhesive or something while a 2nd pair just had just the normal newshoe smell

Otherwise the shoes have been comfortable and versatile though id suggest finding them on sale as the construction and materials feel a little on the cheap side compared to other columbia shoes that i have owned
