I have a pair of columbia hiking shoes that i love so i thought i would stick with columbia when i get some more serious hiking boots

They are good for a slightly wide foot in the nonwide size

They are waterproof though that does make them a lot less breathable

The boots come quite stiff and take some time to break in

I will say that for me these particular bootsshoes took quite some time for me to 34break in34 and even still they are a bit stiff

While i dont hike extensively i would highly recommend wearing these a lot so they can loosen up and break in before taking them out and about for a long trek in the woods

Maybe this is just my personal style but i personally find these to be a bit ugly

The entire outside is just a plain gray plastic material i would prefer more of a design or texture
