If your child is like mine and just pulls the shoes off without untying them they tend to lose shape and are not as supportive but as long as they are tied and tightened properly they are fine

Really nice shoes good fit but the lace lock they show in the photo is not included with the shoes was going to return them but decided to purchase a bag of them here on amazon for 5 and save the hassle
