The fabric flap that goes over the top is also super soft

You can put your feet on top of the fabric but the heat doesnt really transfer through it that well

Its way better for me to put my feet under the fabric so they are nicely cocooned in there and they get super toasty

I do wish the soft fabric was on the bottom as well but its not that big of a deal

Less so if im wearing socks since there is another layer between my skin and the top of the footrest where the heat is concentrated

You can use the footrest flat or there is a small triangle on the bottom you can pop out to give it a bit of an angle
