After making the necessary adjustments, i get great prints and no clogs!
As a result the extrusion gear worked it's way up the spindle until it no longer extruded, and jammed itself against the mounting plate.
You should get a comgrow build plate and some solid metal springs and gears for the bed though, otherwise you could have issues.

In two of the five units i purchased the small screws that lock the extrusion gear onto the stepper motor spindle were not tightened well

Its not a difficult repair but for whatever print you waste when it happens but its easier to simply tighten them before you install
