What can i say, this thing is the ideal 2-drive jbod with hardware raid and ***tons of space***.
It's super fast being able to consistently read a single large file at 460 mb/s and write at 400 mb/s.
' ends up that this drive is much happier being plugged into the pc directly rather than using a usb hub.
Little noise from exhaust fan but tech support solved problem.
Price
Works perfectly and is the cheapest price per gb i could find.

Tip: i *thought* i had an issue and the supplier immediately offered to exchange the product to 'make things right.

I am not a big fan of seagate drives thats whats inside ive had many fail right around the warranty end dates going back 20 years so i usually try to avoid however its hard to pass up the price so yet another gamble on my part

I am continuing to add to it noticed the drives do make a little more noise than other drives but nothing alarming just dont leave running while trying to sleep in the same room theyll make some noise and wake you up if youre a light sleeper
