I have thrown it in the washer and dryer several times and it’s come out like new.
This soft collar is very nice in terms of quality and comfort, but my kitten can get around it lick his neuter incision.

Since it doesnt have a quick release i never left her home alone with this collar on i put a recovery suit on her that had legs so she had zero access to the wound site

The only downside was the string was kind of long and hanging and i couldnt find a good way to secure that so it was either flopping in her face or down by her front legs

I suggest if you do buy a doughnut you get to so you can clean one and use the other one for back up

Suggest having two especially if wet food is involved they will food on it and two allows one to be used while the other is washing

He is 5 months old and over 7 lbs so perhaps a smaller kitten would be fine
