Once they get used to the collar; they have no problem maneuvering around in it. The collar stays stiff enough that it doesn't flip down. The velcro is wide and works very well.

Cons

This completely blocks their peripheral vision. But the watermelon one for some reason is bigger than the space one, but both were labeled “small’ upon ordering. Do not buy.

My cat is about 5-6 months & was freaking out with the plastic cone & so i got this one and it is perfect.

Bummer because he looked so cute and he seemed happier with the soft bee cone than the hard plastic one.

She is ok with the cone i described above once we get it on her but this, oh, the battle up epic.
