Pros

Box has 3 cardboard refills, so 6 basically. It lasts well, and we are only on side one of the first insert. Boards are double sided, with three in a box so will last a while.

My cat loves this scratch mat. They love it. Love these.

My cat is so fussy about where she sleeps but after getting this i find her constantly snoozing on it. As a scratch mat she loves it too, though it is a little small despite my cat being fairly petite.

Cons

The scratchers are too light and would work only if the cat is also standing on it. Too small for an average adult cat to stand on and comfortably scratch. Good idea but poorly designed.
