There is plenty (lots) of room left up top.
The glass is a proper thickness, not too fragile and the lid seals tightly.
They are sometimes somewhat difficult to grab and open and if the lid falls in there is a good chance the glass will break.

The only complaint is that there was excess packaging glue or glue of some sort on the glass that i had to really work at to get it off….
They were packed very well but not fun to unpack.

These look great and the squareness is a space saver but they dont seem all that sturdy in that i put a towel in the bottom of the sink while washing to hopefully get the job done with no breakage manner much like a lot of wine glass that break so easily

The note on sticky plastic atop the bamboo lids saying to lift only up horizontally to avoid breakage didnt have me feeling better about that

Meanwhile i did all sorts of research here an with google about what size to get for a five pound bag of flour and got the biggest size

The seal is perfect except every time i’ve had to run some sand paper around the rim as it’s rough
