You need to get a paper or something that is exactly the right size for your shelf and then cut along that paper ignoring the lines in the shelf liner

It is not adhesive but does seem to cling to the surface

Solved sliding issue by placing a strip of clear drawerwide doublesided carpet tape under liner at front of drawer
