Grips is a good sturdy texture. Ridge and smooth side. Bought this to line the bottom of the under sink cabinet in my kitchen.

I would suggest being careful in handling though there were a couple of times where the perforated lines opened when arranging or fitting a piece so a bit of product wastage there

If you are wanting a very water resistant barrier it does not help to have an open seam
