For what i use it for(a bit of smoothing and heat before using my velcro rollers) it works well, and saves damage to my hair.

400 degrees on this flat iron is nothing like 400 degrees on any other one i have owned.

This flat iron works well for me, but it does not get as hot as other flat irons heated to the same degree.

For this price, this is an amazing curling straightener!
