Pros & Cons
Pros
Tripod is sturdy, would easily hold a heavy kettle, think is just this chain to hang that kettle. Most use these for dutch oven cooking, but they are also useful to hang camp lamps.
Highlights
Quality
I like this tripod for its quality of construction.
I'm very pleased with this except i didn't like it being painted red.
The other issue with the metal triangle is you have to find sticks the right thickness, length, and sturdiness for it to work right.
The chain provided with the tripod is thick!
Price
Good tripod for car camping or base camp use, and good price.

The tripod is locked when you cant twist the top in either direction without moving a leg first

In real world use 100 immobility isnt needed anyway as long as the tripod becomes more rigid when a weight is hung from it

I can get a usable setup in about 1530 seconds most of that time being spent on final tweaking of leg positions to get the last 10 of a full lock
