Pros

Water resistant, durable and can hold more than your average 3 day ruck. No issues with the strap system. Lacking velcro is a minor complaint.

Bought this pack 6 years ago to use for a work/range/travel bag. Brought on numerous trips as well fully packed with clothes and other necessities. Conforms nicely with it's description of being a 72-hour pack.

It has a top and bottom compartment for fast use and the side ones are pretty spacious too. I am 6ft and average about 185, i'm not a big man, but there sizes would accommodate an obese person wearing a plates carrier!

Cons

Almost all the straps on this pack are uneven and tend to come loose easily. Horrible zipper design. Great potential, just some really big design flaws in key features.

Other than that, it's a quality pack that i would highly recommend, including for military service.

The zippers and stiching are top quality.

Can't speak for the quality of current production ones but mine took six years for the main two zippers to fail.

That being said the backpack is pretty on par with the rest of the lineup but lacking with the company trying to add features.

Competitiveness

I have used it twice now with about 30lbs no issues and is for the most part comfortable.

No need to overpay on other brands when this one does everything you need for a much more affordable price.
