The straw doesn’t actually get removed fully so it won’t be lost

The only issue we have is that they dont fit into the cupholders on our car seats but thats not worth taking away stars

The spout piece is simple to use press the oval button on the front to release the spout then fold the spout back down until it clicks when done drinking

They can easily operate the spout mechanisms with one hand and the spout pops up gently so it shouldnt fling drops of liquid or startle your child

It also wont close if anything is blocking it or the back piece like say a little finger
