To clean the lid i hold the hole where you place your mouth to drink while hot soapy water fills the cap while pressing the button.
The no-drip feature is the best! The product is also very durable. The seal is very good otherwise.
Great quality mug, and the insulated feature is no joke. Being dishwasher safe, makes this an easy mug to clean. It's stainless steel and spillproof.
Cons
The lid gets dirty and is very difficult to clean. Soapy water leaves a residue that is hard to rinse away.
A big disappointment. There are other reviewers who also agree! They make it seem like the warranty is easy, but like i said, 4 months later, still no replacements. Beware of this company and their false claims of a lifetime warranty.
This mug works perfectly for a few weeks until a disgusting sludge builds up in the cap. The mugs were made in china and the quality control was not carried out to coffee lovers standards.

I then either shake it and then rinse with hot water while holding the button if it isnt really dirty or allow it to sit for the duration of my dish washing time i hand wash and come back to it at the end and then shake and rinse with hot water
