Pros

The lip is wide enough that i can get ice into it from my through-the-door ice maker. It stays cold and i’ve stays frozen for several hours after topping off with fresh water.

The contigo excels on all those problems plus 24 oz. The durability of this bottle is impressive. Normally one bottle lasts me that long because i dread going upstairs and filling it again.

Stainless water bottle was a freebie from a conference. Oz cube holds plenty of water and fits in a car cupholder.

The bottles are sealed well and extremely leakproof. The bottles stay insulated and the newer ones don’t leak. Easy to drink from and does not leak or sweat.

Cons

Newer version is leaking. Hope it's a fluke. Mechanism to open the spout to drink is difficult to use.

It has both a top handle ring and a spout cover, both easily folded away.

If you’re still worried about it leaking you can lock the button so you can’t press it.

Some of my other contigo water bottles come with a beautiful color that i love.

Competitiveness

This water bottle has essentially the same feature set as the coleman autoseal.

I love the contigo brand and after using other brands i’ll never buy anything else.

It's just overall a better unit, at the same price.
