The mug is not a contigo branded item. It is unbranded and therefore i am not convinced the quality is of a high level. Lid has weakened causing it to shear apart after a few months use.

The lock even means that you can put it in your bag and it will not leak.
Price
I know they are a little more expensive but you will not regret it.
Fantastic cup even though it's quite expensive.

The lid is dishwasher safe but not the bottle

If you do put the bottle in the dishwasher it will damage the colour coating which will be removed
