My toddler doesnt open the cup to fix a dislodged straw and sometimes that causes leaks or in regards to kids an upset kid because the cup doesnt work

When it is closed it seems to be pretty leak proof

My only issue with it is that the straw tends to come off the spout rather easily so if the bottle gets dropped enough we have to take the top off and put it back in

Sadly the way he holds it made the handle wear out fairly quickly and it broke off after only 4 months
