A couple of months later, the gasket broke.
Two months ago (7 months after buying), the flip part of the lid wouldn't stay closed.
Price
I came across this one on sale for a good price.
And so for the value, i should tell you that it works as well as the price difference reflects.
Competitiveness
I was mad about the gasket issue so i looked for another brand that would meet the same high standards as contigo.
Was told they like them better than their yeti’s.

First of all it is a little smaller than my other travel mugs that say theyre of similar size which means ive had to adjust my sweetener etc

Second i have a really hard time getting it to open and close which makes me have to be careful not to tip it as i push so hard
