Pros

The lid locks securely. It opens to clean. The smoothness is a double edged sword because nothing can wear away in the dishwasher.

Cons

It leaks out of the drinking hole if tipped at all. Sometimes it dribbles all the way down the front of the cup. It's all pointless if it's going to spill coffee everywhere.

Worst it does not keep my beverage hot for long and is awkward to drink from. The lid gets hot, meaning, all that heat is escaping through plastic lid.

This model (luxe) is a major disappointment. This particular model should be re-engineered for safety.

Despite following the directions exactly, the seal where it meets the sip began to warp, and my leak-proof cup was leaking all over my car.

I tried multiple baths of vinegar and soapy water (boiling water added to both), but i only lessened the smell, it is still there.

I do not require a straw or a lid that can be used with other brands.
