The seals work great when fully * down, which conversely makes these a little hard to open and to shut. The cup is leak proof as advertised.

Drinking from the wide rim invites the last liquid to spill on you. It has a habit of sealing itself shut and is impossible to open for refilling. Something to do with the vacuum or maybe mine is faulty.

This is less than satisfactory. I stand by contigo and this will disappoint you! My cheap ozark is light-years better.

The top and bottom parts of the straw must be cleaned separately. The membrane makes cleaning the straw harder and more time consuming. The surfaces of both the lid and top are very smooth, leaving nothing for my hands to grip.

The cup must be tipped up and can block vision horribly. Screw on lid is fairly deep so you cannot fill this cup up without it spilling over. I have to open the cup to finish my beverage, for some reason the straw doesn't pick up the last of the bever...  Read More
